Hi everybody
My winXp pro IE6 doesn't show the java applets any more. For example the applet embeded in <a target="_blank" href=http://www.anfyteam.com/>http://www.anfyteam.com/</a> doesn't show.
is there any settings that I'm missing?
any kind of help is appreciated.

Did you check in Tools, Internet Options, Advanced tab and the Microsoft VM [Virtual Machine] section that "JIT compiler..." is checked? That's the only one of the 3 entries I have checked and the applet looked fine to me.
And thanks for the link.
This was on the page just below the download links:
"If you have Windows XP and you can't see applets, download Java from: Here, Here or Here"

Hi Bert,
and thanks for your reply.
Yes, in Tools, Internet Options, Advanced tab and the Microsoft VM [Virtual Machine] section that "JIT compiler..." is already checked. but no way. still I have a gray square instead of the applet . I'll give a try to the downloads for winxp in download page and will post back the results.
you've been always a great help to me.
thanks for all desperating times I've been a dead-end and you've helped me out.

Hi Bert , and thanks for your assist last night.
You saved me one more time. Downloading Java runtime machine fixed the problem.
Thanx to all your wisdom.
