Is there a way to lock down the IP for using a proxy server in the config of IE? I would like to be able to lock the IP so a user can't change or disable it by taking out the check mark.
thanks

regedit should be the command. Yea, you dont want to mess up with the computer if you dont know what you are doing.

Edit the registry basically is telling what windows does in terms of all sort of behaviors.

hide this hide that, restrict this restrict that.

If you go to any public library, they have done a great deal on that kind of problem. People simply can't anywhere but browse directly! Of course, that also deals with some sort of policies...

That's advanced though.
