AutoComplete Password Lost!!! (WXP)

i have winxp prof running in my system...i had enable the autocomplete
password feature in internet explorer 6.0 ....i suddenly had to format
my system due to a crash....(formatted only the c: drive)..now i have
lost all the auotcomplete passwords....is there any way to recover them
again!!!!!
pls help!!!

Hello,

I imagine you had Windows XP installed on c:. If this was the case and you formatted the disk it will be very difficult to retrieve these files. You can get professionals to take you system away and perform complex recovery operations but this will be expensive.

Have you simply tried going to each website for which you use a password and clicking on the ubiquitous 'forgot your password?' links? Most sites that require passwords have a built in function to send the password to your registered e-mail address should you forget or...lose them.
