Whenever I go to the windowsupdate.microsoft.com page, I get a blank white page. I hit refresh ... nothing. I've tried to access it at different times of the day ... over the course of a week ... over the course of the last couple of months ... cannot get any images to show. This is the only page I have this experience with. Anyone care to explain why or what I might try?
FYI, I'm using IE 6.0.2800.1106 with SP1 update.
Thanks.

Hi,
I can't really comment as I do not use W98 but I can state W2K and WXP updates have been OK for me.
Anyway, use this link and see if you get anyfurther: <a target="_blank" href=http://www.microsoft.com/windows98/downloads/>http://www.microsoft.com/windows98/downloads/</a>

Try going to IE Tools, Internet Options, Security, Custom and under ActiveX change the settings to Prompt where they now show as Disabled. Click Apply and Ok.
Note those that you change and after you are done at MS then you can always change them back.

I had that trouble a while ago, then I read a fix that said to put the actual MS site in your "Trusted" Zone. . I did this & it fixed instantly for me, another thing the reccommend you empty your cache,
Tools\ Internet Options\ Delete Files
Hope this helps
