Is there anyone over there who can explain why all the versions of windows support MSConfig except win2k pro?
Or maybe there's some corresponding to msconfig in Win2k pro that I don't know

I dont recall msconfig being a feature in NT4, however, I haven't worked with an NT machine in...months? Maybe years? If you're looking for a similar utility for use with W2k, try out WinGuides Driver Guide (http://www.techtips4u.com/downloads/#MSconfig2k>MSconfig2K.)

thanks for the reply.

This morning I made a search on MSConfig and found your reply in another post and your suggestion about two third party programs. I used your link, download it and everything is OK . thanx for your links.

I don't know anything about NT, but I have MsConfig on my win98 SE , Win ME , and Win Xp pro machines. I was just thinking why Microsoft hasn't included MSConfig with Win2K pro. The versions before and after win2k contains this feature. Maybe there has been some reasons to remove it from win2k and I just wanted to see if anyone knows about it.

Glad you got that tool. Yeah, why it wasn't included, I'm not really sure. I find it to be a very valuable utility, in all other operating systems.
