Show computer and support Information (W98)

I am trying to do the "show computer and support information" http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/293/

and I can not make it work.

I really dont want to use a logo but have tried it both with a logo(correct size) and without and have no effect.

Are there any other steps not documented?

You can do it without the image but the image will not show up without the .ini file.

One thing to not do is create the .ini in a word processor, use Notepad. Word processors add formatting that can screw things up in plain text files.

I used notepad. Still not working. I have to be missing something but its pretty simple and straightforward. Not sure what it could be *sigh*

I've done this before and it works fine with & without a logo. I have never had to reboot, but I did need to close and then reopen the System Properties window for it to refresh the information. Also, I did have to make sure I did not put spaces before or after the equal sign. i.e. "Line1=first line" not "Line1 = first line".
