Hi,
When I restrict a user from being able to install software I get an error message "failed to update regedit" when starting AutocadLT program. anyone know a way around this? Also I know I can't restrict a user from deleting files but how can I restrict a user from empting the recycle bin, I have a user that likes to delete things and empty the recycle bin. Thanks

in windows 2000 autocad requires the user to be a power user to edit some keys in the hk classes_root\

if you have permissions set on the hard drive for power users remove it that way the user has write access to the registry in the hkey classes_root.
