i have a cataloguing software which i use to catalog my mp3's; unfortunately, it doesnt have a feature to enqueue tho, only launch; is there a way one can tweak the registry so that when i double click on the mp3 in that software, it'd enqueue in winamp instead of launch? if someone knows, please teach me.
thanks.

1) Run Windows Explorer
2) Tools > Folder Options
3) File Types > New
4) Type in file extension
5) Click Change in Opens With
6) Choose a program to open this type of extension or click Other and manually choose one yourself.
However, if the program does not support trailing parameters (program.exe %1 %2 %3), then you're out of luck

Whereisit is a good CD cataloging program...I use it too.
Whereisit has a built-in feature which opens a catalog automatically. Run Whereisit > General Settings > Catalog > Autoload Catalog from previous session OR Autoload specified catalogs
Hmm...or your real intentions are exactly what you mean?. Oh well,
1) Run Windows Explorer
2) Tools > Folder Options
3) File Types
4) Locate the MP3 extension and click Change
5) Click Others and browse to your Whereisit directory and select WHEREISIT.EXE
Very weird request...

see, let me explain my problem and then may be you wont think it's weird request any more; i have a lot of mp3 located all over the home network here. When i have to retrieve the files across the network, it's not as fast as if it were on my local hd - actually very slow for some reason (i m on 2k); but via whereisit, i can locate files that i have scanned very fast and seems to not take a lot of resource of the comupter; i know how to launch the mp3 from whereisit, but there are times, i want to queue a bunch of them to play in winamp; and whereisit doesnt do that; i know of a couple of other apps that can enqueue mp3's but they can't allow you to save the scanned results. I mean, it's not the end of the world, but i'd like to find if there's an easier way to make it more convenient u know.
