Delete selected url from address bar (W98)

Just curious, is there anyway to delete selected url from address bar. I know i can go to internet option and clear, but that will clear everything.

For word or input content, i can delete whatever text i dont want to appear. What about url from address bar?

Any ideas? If the answer is no, please do not reply
