I was tinkering with my laptop Hardware Profiles and some how messed them up to the point where I can't get back my default Docked and Undocked Hardware Profiles.
I see the Hardware Profile settings in the Registry, but not certain what the settings should be.
Anyone know how to reset the Reg keys for the hardware profiles?
It would be VERY helpful if someone out there had a laptop and could copy & paste all Reg keys that pertain to Hardware Profiles in their Reg and send them to me in a text doc so that I may have a reference.
Thanks for your help.

Shutdown the computer. Dock it. Boot up. Login. Create a new H-profile named docked. Shutdown. Undock the laptop. Boot up. Login. Create a new H-profile named undocked.

Thank you. You know, after I docked the computer at the office, I noticed a new Docked Profile created ... I'll check undocked later and see what happens. Again, thanks!!

Well, the default profiles were re-created, however, I now can't create any new profiles that the computer recognizes.
The selection menu appears upon computer start, however, the profile for which I select doesn't stick ... windows resorts back to the original profile for that particular instance (in this case the default undocked profile). Note that the new profile I created still shows up in the Hardware Profiles dialog box of System Properties, and the default profile is stated as current profile, not the one I selected upon comp startup.
Is there some sort of default setting in the reg for hardware profiles?
Thanks again, Scott

Unfortunately, I have no idea why it won't boot with the selected profile. Sorry CG!
