You need to use the HP JETADMIN software to configure the alerts when a HP printer is out of toner ( This software have many others alerts usefull)

You can locate this software in HP web site.

Here is a link:

<a target="_blank" href=http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?locale=en_US&prodNum=WBJASW&seriesId=27905&lang=English+%28American%29&basePartNum=ja150&locBasepartNum=ja150en&prodName=hp+web+jetadmin+software&os=Microsoft+Windows+2000&tech=>Click Here for Web JetAdmin</a>

Have not used web jetadmin, only the version that this has replaced....but here is a link to the extra components:

Hope this helps...

You should give WJA a try. Many things are now built-in that used to be seperate components, such as Download Manager. I didnt like earlier versions of WJA, but recent versions have really surprised me.
