View Full Version : Monitor Printers (W2K)
Hi
i have about 40 network printers in my LAN..
mostly Hp and Lexmark.
when a printer run out of Toner, i want to receive a message on my Computer telling me that a Toner is LOW or Empty.....
any suggestion how this may be done?
You need to use the HP JETADMIN software to configure the alerts when a HP printer is out of toner ( This software have many others alerts usefull)
You can locate this software in HP web site.

Have not used web jetadmin, only the version that this has replaced....but here is a link to the extra components:

You should give WJA a try. Many things are now built-in that used to be seperate components, such as Download Manager. I didnt like earlier versions of WJA, but recent versions have really surprised me.
Thanks for the help! I`ll check it out during next week.
