Howdy I thought I'd share this with you all. . . I just got an email with the dreaded bugbear attachment I didn't open it "phew"
The bad thing is when you see an email from a source that you know you immediately think its safe or should I say assume its safe ***-U-Me lol
I did a scan with my AV & all's cool, phew again. . . so be carefull gang, the email carrying a virus will 99% chance come from your friends\ relations\ or other known source

Hey Hally, I've seen the message "Hello" show up many times in my emails. Fortunately I didn't open any either. I'm helping a friend try to get rid a virus now. She's got it so bad it shuts down any attempts to detect it. I can't install Norton or run it from the internet. It goes for about two minutes and shuts off. So far I can't tell what it's infected with. I may have to wipe her OS clean and reinstall but that's my last resort. Any ideas on how I can get the Norton installation to install?

since u cant installing norton antivirus, why not use the emergency disk to boot from a floppy disk and then do the scanning?
