After re-installing W2K & applying SP2 & upgrading WMP to version 7.1 thru Windoes
Update I'm getting the aforementioned error message "Access Denied" when I attempt
to play avi's or mpegs. the details of the error message are:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You do not have permission to play this file
Error ID = 0x80070005, Remedy ID = 0x00000000
This file contains protected multimedia content. You need to have permission to play
this file. Please consult the system administrator or multimedia content provider
to get permission to play this file and enter your password correctly when prompted.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As far as I can tell I've set all the proper security permissions, but I keep getting
denied access. Any thoughts on how to get WMP to play these video files?
