Hello Folks!
I have just purchased Win2k and installed it, and I would like to know if there is anything similar in Win2k like scanreg /restore in win 98SE? I have used that a lot of times to go back to an earlier version and it has certainly helped me out of some bad spots...

No there isn't. How is your system setup. Is it using the FAT or NTFS file system? Is it dual boot with another OS version?

The quickest way to back it up is to login as Admin then go to Start/run and type in regedit. Highlight My Computer and export the registry to another partition, physical disk, CD-R or tape backup.

There's other methods as well.
