I would like to know how to remove the "Folder Options" item that is added when you install Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0, it the the only thing left for me to remove from my settings toolbar, and I would like to know how to remove it so that people do not change the folder setup that I have created. Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions that this might generate.

Goto HKEY_Current_user\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre nt Version\Policies\Explorer
add the DWORD NoFolderOptions andset it equal to one. The same setting also works under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
Note I've been told by other people in this forum that this option does not remove the folder options from under the view menu in explorer. It does on mine (Win 98, IE5.01) but not on others. Please let me know if you find this to be true also.
