I've noted that some of my screensavers don't display in the Display --> Screensaver Tab, yet they are in the appropriate directory and can execute manually (but preferrences cannot be set). I can't seem to find a pattern. None are MS screensavers. For the most part, they are from different vendors and range from simple standalone (small) to complex ones using assorted AVIs, dlls, etc. I've contacted a few vendors but they've not heard of this
before. The bulk that have thr problem, but not all, are in /Windows and the rest in /Windows/System. If I move some from /Windows to /Windows/System they appear but then others dissappear. I'm W98 and otherwise the system works well. Very odd. Suggestions are appreciated.
