Sending output to a clients COM2 port (W2K)

I have a W2K server machine which is acting as an app server.

From the app server, I'd like to send a text file from the hard disk to the COM2 port of a client machine. (where a label printer is)

Has anyone tried this?
i.e.- '... > \\machine\COM2'
