folder options (W2K)

Hello.

I was wondering if anybody knows the regestry key to change the way the explorer lists contents of the folders. By default when you click on a folder its contents are listed using "Large Icons" option. I would like to find a way to set the default to "Details" option.

i don't think you need to edit your reg for that!open windows explorer,select any folder and go to the "view" menu to select the details view and do whatever else you want to customize the settings,then go to "tools">"folder options">"view" and hit the button that sez "like current folder" to reset all your folders to that view,then in the same tab scroll down and check the box that says "remember each folder's view settings"...and that should be it!

You are absolutely right! However, I do need to "tweak" the registry as I am working on Unattended Install and want the program to make all of the necessary environment changes automatically.
