My screensaver turns itself off sometimes. Does anyone know what would cause that?

Its possible that programs running in the background can cause this

Another thing could be.... if you have an Energy Star monitor and chose to have the monitor go into low power standby or shut off after a certain amount of time.

Following Mocha's logic, check your Power Management settings. THere is a Turn Off Monitor option.

I have discovered that many programs (most notablly, WebShots) will change the PM settings to something that the vendor thinks is what you will want to use.
