Can anyone please tell me the default registry settings for recycle bin in Windows 98 Second Edition?
Recently I installed Norton Utilities 2000 v4.5 and it changed my recycle bin to the Norton Protected Recycle Bin (The setup didn't complete successfully)
I decided to reinstall the program but the uninstallation didn't work as a result of incomplete setup process.So I used Mcafee Uninstaller v5.5 to get rid of this program and the Uninstaller deleted the recycle bin and the registry settings for the recycle bin.I managed to get back the recycle bin by entering some values in the registry but another problem occurs.
When I try to access the recycle bin properties in the right click menu it says
"The properties for this item are not available."
Why do I get this message and how do I fix it ?
Any help would be most appreciated.
