View Full Version : cd rom drive disappears!! (W98)

i have a cd rom drive (e: drive ) and a cdrw ( d: drive ).
after i fixed my display adapter (art x display adapter),my d: and e: just disappears. The cdrom drive doesn't exist in my DEVICE MANAGER in windows, but it did exist in SAFE MODE.
please can anyone teach me how to fix it.

Remove it from safe mode & restart. If it still does
not appear, unplug you're computer (power on)
leave it a minute, plug in & see if windows will
detect. I found this to work before.
