I've run across an odd problem on one of our numerous Compaq desktops running WinNT4.0 SP6. The user complained that although her desktop icons and fonts look fine, when she goes into a "properties" window such as IE properties, some of the buttons are not viewable because the font appears too large and the buttons are in an undisplayable area of the window. It looks like the font is set for VGA, yet all the settings in Control Panel--Monitor are correct. The settings in Desktop properties also are the same as numerous identical systems I looked at. Any ideas? Thanks for your help!
