Open up your Registry and highlight and right-click each of the 5 Prime Keys and alter the permissions to suit.

Dirk_Diggler,

All I get when I right click on one of my 6 main registry keys in WinMe is:

Expand
New - Key, String Value, Binary Value, DWord Value
Find
Delete
Rename
Copy Key Name

I don't think any of these will do what suirec wants to do. Will it?

My appologies, I wasn't aware that suirec was using WinME, it is available for XP, 2000 and NT

Dirk_Diggler,

I have no idea what suirec is using. Obviously I thought all the registries would give the same choices on a right click. /images/forums/icons/blush.gif

Live & learn. My apologies to you!

suirec,

Then you should use the information from Dirk's first post, the second post in this thread, right under your question.

Thank you for telling us what OS you're using. Hope you get things fixed soon.
