Delete an Item/value from registry (W98)

I have had to delete some items from the registry, but there is one item in Hkey_Local_Machine/software that reappears evrytime I restart.
The relative program was uninstalled with it's uninstall program and other values in Current User manually deleted.
Can someone please help me?

It would be better if you had waited longer for a response to your question instead of starting another thread. That only leads to confusion for people trying to answer you. Sometimes it takes days until the right person sees your question. You waited one hour!
