RarExt.dll
Ive checked this file out with TrojanRemover and NAV2002 and nothing suspicous was found, but it keeps trying to access IP address 207.46.226.40:80
intermittently when i right click different files using Windows explorer.
It resided in the WinRar program folder.

Anyone know why its tried to aceess the internet over 15 time in 4 hrs please?

Thank you,
Nic.

Any help much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thank you Paul.
There must be a prob with the installation then, because why would Explorer try to dial home simply when i right click a file. It must be that WinRars right-click intergration hasn't initialised correctly.
Would you agree??
Thanks again,
Nic.

Yeah, just confirmed it.

One (or more) of the context menu items was doing it. Disabled all and it stopped. A bit more 'selective' trial and error should work out exactly which ones, but at least its sorted.

I wonder if anyone else has had this prob?
Its not the first time XP has caused my progs problems with context menu intergration.

Thanks for the help Paul,
Nic.
