Dear Group: All kinds of frequently freezes, slow downs, blue screens, etc, have turned my PC almost unusefull lately. No viruses found in several scans (Norton). No exclamation marks on Device Mgr., No excesive number of programs running at the same time, I"m basically running the computer with SysTray and explorer only. Games and other complicated applications have been eliminated and still having those problems mentioned above. I have three fans running internally, in my opinion, providing a good cooling air flow to the PC. I Think my best bet at this point is to reformate my primary drive and re-install Win-ME. I need to protect about 2 GB of data files and don't have a back up source besides my floppy drive. My question is: Can I move these folders temporarily to my secondary drive while the other drive has been reformated?. If so, what is the procedure to do it safely?
Thanks in advance for the help you can provide.
