I am running Windows98 SE on a PIII 600 MHz PC. Initially, when I received an attachment in Outlook Express with an extension of .eml, and I clicked on it, it would decently open in a new Outlook Express mail window. Recently I have found that when I click on such attachments I get a window asking me to select a program with which I should open the file. If I select Outlook Express, then Outlook Express opens in a separate instance but not the file. How do I rectify this. OR with which mail reader do I associate the .eml file extension? Please help me solve this.
I got one mail saying "When you get the Open With screen, scroll down and select MSIMN. This is the extension you need to use for the Outlook Express internet mail messages which is what the eml extention indicates it is. "
I tried what was suggested and now I don't get anything except that the focus shifts to Outlook Express. No attachment with .eml extesion opens.
Anything wrong here? I desperately need to see the attachments in my OE that have piled up.
Thanks a lot.

This command will restore the OE registry entries. Copy and paste the Bold type into start>run and then press enter:

"C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\MSIMN.exe" /reg
