I have recently installed a Windows 2000 Server as a PDC at the top of the root. This server is to control a very small LAN so it is acting as a DHCP, DNS, and RRAS server. For some reason this server cannot ping the client IP address that it dishes out to a DHCP workstation on the network hub. I can log into the domain with the 2000 workstation, ping the name of the server OK, but from the server I cannot ping the workstation for some reason. Any ideas????

If I browse to Network Neighborhood/MS Windows Network/ I can see the domain name, but when I double click the domain I do not see the server or workstation, instead I get a message "The list of servers for this workgroup is not currently available." ???? Any ideas??

If you have any ideas that could steer me in the right direction I would GREATLY appreciate it.
