Have a 700 Meg Anthlon running 2k pro.
When I try to access anything under "System Informaton", I get the "connection could not be established error" message. Also says "check to see that the network path name is correct and you have sufficient permission to access Windows Management Instrumentation". I log on as administrator and all permissions seem to be set right, etc.
This used to work and am not sure when it stopped.
Computer is not on a network per say. Machine and all programs run fine. Have a laptop also running 2k pro and this funtion works fine. Have compared settings and can't find any diffrerences I recognize as possible problems.
