My PC is connected to one network but I need to set it up for another one, when I create the profile for the new domain it shows "the trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain failed" so when rebooting at the logon screen my new domain doesn't appear. What can I do?

a win2k machine can only belong to one domain at any one time. When you add the machine to another domain it breaks the relationsship with the previous domain it was a member of.
If the situation has arisen where the machine needs to be used in 2 different domains I would establish a trust between the 2 domains, users from both domain would then be able to use the machine and use their own domains. This will also list all of the domains in the Domain list on the login dialog.
This is a feature of the security of NT and Win2K.

but what if there are two domains totally different and so usernames are totally different, can I still do that domain relationship ... and where will I configure that trust relationship?

You have the perfect situation for a domain trust. For a domain trust to work correctly both domains must have unique usernames etc.
The trust needs to be established between 2 domain controllers, however this means that they must have network connectivity between them.
Do you wish to simply take the machine to the other domain and let their users use it? or let both domains users access and use the machine? This will determine whether you establish a two way or one way trust.
I cannot write enough detail here to assist you in establishing the domain trust but I'm sure there is information on the Microsoft KB detailing this practice.

I want users of both domains to access and use the machine, but the two domains are totally different, I mean I don't think they have connectivity.
