Hi all ! When I maximize the Internet Explorer window, the window is not centered in the screen, but outside of the viewing area. The only way is to de-maximize the explorer window and to manually resize it to fit the screen. Anyone s'got an idea how to reset this to default size ?
I have the same "bug" in outlook.
Thanks for your help !

Are those the only 2 programs that can't center themselves when maximized? If there's others with the same problem, maybe the OnScreenDisplay of the monitor needs to be accessed and positioning of the screen itself re-adjusted.
We all, each of us, have a uniqueness, some of us enjoy it, some of us don't.

Thanks for your answer ! Yes, these are the only two programs who are doing this.

What I'd try, when the program/s are open, right-click the button in the taskbar and choose Maximize. Sometimes they have to be 'trained' to stay that way. You could also click on the title bar at the top of the window and drag it enough to where you can see the maximize button top right corner and click on it.

Yeps, I did that. After playing a bit with the window, i can get it to bo OK - but whenever i restart the box, i have to redo the whole process again - wich is quite boring... I was looking for a registry command or a magic tweak to tell windows to forget about the old explorer window position and to reset it 'forever'. See what i mean ?

Try this.
Open the registry and Navigate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
Click on Main. Look in the right pane near the bottom for this String Value.
Window_Placement
Right click on it and delete it.
Then go here:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Desktop\Old WorkAreas
Click on OldWorkAreas and look in the right pane for this Binary Value:
OldWorkAreaRects
Right click on it and delete.
Reboot.
