I have a SBS 2000 server that is being used primarily as a file server, but it is also our Proxy server (using ISA) and a Remote Access server (using RRAS). Everything was working fine until a few days ago when the workstations on the network lost internet connectivity. I noticed that in the status bar of IE was the message "connecting to 192.168.1.46" - the server's IP address is 192.168.1.1, and this is the address in IE's LAN setting's and the ISA Firewall client on the workstations.
The IP address 192.168.1.46 is what is assigned to the RAS Dial-In node - does anyone know why the server is trying to use this address for Internet content through the ISA sevrer??
p.s. I have only configured the RRAS service for Remote Access (not as a router).
Thanks,
Mike.
