You could try downloading ie6setup.exe and save it to, for example, C:\Download and then go to start>run and type this:

"C:\download\ie6setup.exe" /c:"ie6wzd.exe /d /s:""#E"

Or you can download IEAK for IE6

Hope this helps...

For what I do for my clients, I found it much simpler to order the CD. Seen too many corrupted installs from the 'Net for such a small area I'm in.

The other option is to download the Internet Explorer Administration Kit (IEAK) which will download everything to your hard drive then you can create your install from there and it will put everything in one directory. Just an idea...though usually when I have ran IE6Setup the files went to my Temporary Directory (depends where you Environment Variables point it to).

I looked at the IEAK but it didn't seem to be as large [file size] as previous versions, so it made me wonder if it was all there or still needed the 'Net. MS used to have a corporate download but haven't found it for IE6 yet.

Don't know if this is at all relevant to you but I've seen IE6.0 on a number of freebie CDs that come with various PC magazines here in the UK. PC Pro regularly put it on their CDs now. Haven't used it myself; am sticking with IE5.5.

We used to get them bundled with the Newstand version of various magazines but I haven't checked lately.

Well IEAK has worked for me... I've used it to create basically a default install from one Flat directory and everything is there. Some of the newer additions are not though, like Flash player 6 as they haven't been integrated into IEAK6 yet.

As far as a Corporate download have you checked Microsoft's new Corporate site?

Yeah I know it has been changed but you can still download items from that site.

Just by accident I ran across this page today: http://www.bink.nu/ie6/. I think it might have a solution for you.
