I have disabled ActiveX scripting and would like to turn off or disable the annoying popup about my security settings.
"Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page. As a result, the page may not appear correctly"

You'd have to hack a IE related dll, but what to do exactly?
What I usually do, is put those sites in my trusted zones, if I go there often enough.

With the extensive use of ActiveX scripting on the web I see this message at almost every site I visit - real pain. I was hoping for a registry hack to disable information popups - all if possible.

I don't think there's a registry hack.
I'm afraid its coded into a dll.

found a work around - renabled activex in IE then disabled each activeX control control manually in registry. No more popups from MS (activeX errors) or web popup/unders. :-)
