For some unknown reason, I can't complete any windows 2000 updates or Norton Anti-Virus updates. This problem started after I turned off "cookies" on IE6 (still had problem with "cookies" turned back on). Also, I added a user (with admin priveleges) to the "program files" folder. I think I have a permissions problem, but don't know where. Updates will download but not install.System runs fine otherwise.Wondering if there is a utility that will reset permissions to original. Appreciate the help!
