We recently contracted a variant of the Nimda virus on another computer and have used Mcafee Proffessional v6.0 to clear it all up, the problem i have is that now when i try and open any applications including but not limited to all MS Office, Goldmine(contact management software), and various other programs that we are still finding we gett an error message saying
"program path" is not a valit Win32 application.
PLease chan anyone help we are in a desperate situation.

You should've really posted this in the virus forum...but i'm kind so I'll offer some help...
This is a link to Symantecs Help on removal and treatment of Nimda infected machines.

I've always used symantec and never had any problems. I'm not familiar with McAfee so cannot comment on its reliablility.
