I installed McAfee Utilities on my win98 pc. I started having problems right away. I get the dreaded blue screen on start up and then have to reboot cold for the pc to load up. I called tech support they don't have tech support for this program cause they say it is so new. I uninstalled the programs and not all of them uninstalled. I have some serious pc problems now. Tech support suggested I do a reinstall of win 98. I will lose all my information. Tech support sent me a manual uninstall of Nuts and Bolts and said it is the same program only the Utilities is the updated version. NONE of the registry entries look anything like what tech support sent me. After the first installation of the program, win98 defrag was no longer a valid win32 application. I found it on the 98 cd and extracted it to the desktop. Now I can't get it back into the windows system files. I am lost and stressed to the max with this crap. Can anyone help me on this one.
