simple network problem (W2K)

i have a small office network, 1 pc with xp pro, 1 2000, and 2 win me.

the problem is with the Me pc's, when i try to look at 2000's files trough windows explorer it says it needs password for the IPC$ resource, and i dont even know whats that.

i am new in networking, so easy explanation would be great.

you need to create user accounts for the name of the users you use to login to your 98/ME machines on your 2000/XP machines.

these accounts must have exactly the same username and passwords that you are using to login. they will also need to be made members of the local user groups on the 2000/XP machines.
