View Full Version : page has expired (W2K)
No matter what I do, I have made changes in the IE options.
It still gives me an error saying the Page has expired and I have replicated the exact same settings on another computer and it works fine.
Can anyone help me.

This message is displayed when you are trying to access a page that is constantly updated. This leads me to believe you might be trying to access this page from the IE history pane or you have saved this to your favourites drop-down.
When you replicated this on another machine how did you access this page? Did you type the url of the website then navigate to the desired page?

Yeah you right, the machine that is having problems has that site bookmarked and uses that. The new machine that I tested it on, I just typed out the URL of the same page and did a the same steps and it did not have to refresh.
I also on the machine that was having the refresh problem, typed out the URL and it still had the same refresh problem.
Any suggestions??

Find the cookie and delete it for that page in question. I think that should sort it.

Well, That page did not have a cookie, All I did was deleted the Temp Internet files, and ended working again.
So if it still didn't work and The site did not have a cookie, was there any other things to try, just in case it happens again.
