How would I remove unwanted icons from the tray at the lower right-hand corner of the taskbar on my Windows Desktop? Some of them don't have the option to open the program and change it in there. Please email me at fsanchez@merlet.com

Start/Run/Msconfig.
Got to the Startup tab and uncheck items you don't want

Paul's suggestion is the way to go if you don't want these applications to run... but if you mean you want the apps to run but not display in the system tray (and your request wasn't too clear), there's not much you can do if the app doesn't give you the option to hide it. There are some 3rd party apps such as WinTime which let you hide any system tray icon. The nice thing about WinTime is that you can hide/display it's own system tray icon by toggling Ctrl+W.
