Software Registration

How can we change the name a particular piece of software is registered to? Whenever you pull up a program (i.e. MS Outlook, MS Word, etc.), it says, "This program belongs to..." or something to that effect. How do I change this name? A person who installed this at our institution did it under his name and it's actually property of the institution. Please email me with an answer if possible. My email is fsanchez@merlet.com

Try opening regedit and searching for the string you want to change. A bit of deductive logic will tell you if you're looking under the correct reg key.
