I keep getting this message while I am in Adaptec CD Creator: Microsoft Access Data missing file odbctl32.dll”. It appears I may need to download a service pack but don’t know which one or what it will do to my system. Here is the version currently on my system MDAC 2.6 SP2 (2.62 7400.1). Can anyone tell me how to fix this annoying message?

You might start by downloading the MDAC component checker on this page from Microsoft.

Yes, I did that earlier. I ran the Perform Analysis Against Selected Version and got a report of some type with a bunch of Field File Mismatch, File not Found etc. messages. The problem is I don't know what I am looking at or for. Apparently something is amiss, but what. Any suggestions?
LifeNo5,
I don't know if this will solve your problem, but you can downlaod odbctl32.dll from <a target="_blank" href=http://dll.yaroslavl.ru/index.php3?lng=&in_char=O>here</a>

Thanks for the advice. I didn't have much luck downloading from this site but did find the file at another site. Downloaded it to my Windows/System file directory and voila my CD Creator works without the annoying message.
LifeNo5,
I'm sorry the link didn't work for you. It worked fine when I tried it. Was it the wrong version number? At least you were able to find what you needed at another site.
Good to hear your CD Creator is working again.
