I upgraded to IE 6.0 and have regreted it ever since. I want to uninstall 6.0 and reinstall 5.5. Does anyone either
a) know of a link that has a tutorial or guide for
undergoing this process
b) have any advice of how to go about doing this.

I have already tried the tools (accessed by going to Add-Remove Remove Programs-Internet Explorer) revert to older version and repair IE with no luck. The only idea I've had so far is to use a program like IEradicator to remove all associated IE files and then download 5.5 from the microsoft (using a different computer I guess...)and install it. Any advice about this process would be great. Thanks!!

Go to Control Panel > Software Add/Remove > MS Internet Explorer > Remove > Restore previous Windows Configuration.

You'll have your 5.5 back again; it still ought to be there, hidden 'underneath' your 6.0.

Good luck, Tony

NOTE: If Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 and Internet Tools is missing from the list of installed programs, run ie6Setup.exe from your C:\WINDOWS\Windows Update Setup Files folder.
