Hi,

In a local network, how can a "user" send a messege to another user that has logged on ?

Does it need admin rights ?

Thanks.

Hi,

Thanks a lot for the reply.

By using "net send" windows will send the message in a dialog box and prompt the names of sender and reciever at the top of it.

Is there any way to send messeges to other users without prompting the names of sender and reciever at the top of the messege ?

Thanks.

S. G.

not that i am aware of, you will have to look in to 3rd party net send tools which they are alot of

couple of years ago i tried various wanting the same result, because there is nothing better then sending net send messages to your dumb colleages scaring them with virus messages and "Are you sure you want to format your pc" and they only have an ok button to press, priceless :)

tucows lan messengers have a look at any of these to see if it is what you want

other wise do a google search on "lan messengers" or "instant message tools apps" "net send tools"
