got an administrator level profile that seems corrupted ?

If you've got an administrator account (default) that you've made no modifications with (XP seems to create this account whenever you boot into safe mode, so you can delete it after you do this) log on to a good account or a working acount (not the one with the problems) and then copy the administrator profile in the same directory "C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\%USERSPROFILE%" where the corrupted profile is. This appears to reset the administrator privaleges and settings (not to mention the desktop and some other minor settings) of the corrupted account but as far as loosing any data (such as emails, users documents, etc.) I've not noticed anything.

This seems to work in Windows XP home edition, not sure about Pro edition nor limited accounts.
