Hi,
I'm trying to remove the 'Shorcut to ....' text and have followed the steps in the regedit functionality section but it just refuses to work.
I'm creating a new binary value in
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer]
I've named the value "link" and set it to "00 00 00 00"
I'm pretty new to this and don't know what the locked in 0000 is at the beginning of the space for entering the value. I can enter 00 00 00 00 after this but cannot remove the existing 0000. Am I doing something wrong there? Anyway, I can't get it to work. thanks in advance.
