PC dummy user here.
I ran the Compaq Typical restore and did not copy data and personal files to a diskette. It appears all this data has been deleted but I understand it can be retrieved and re-installed.Some of my files in "My Documents" were useful but not critical and I would like to retrieve same. Anyone know how I can find the files and re-install?
On the positive side the restore cleaned out a lot of stored rubbish,my computer is faster and generally performs so much better now.
