I have a question that perhaps you can answer for me. When I open Windows Explorer from
the START menu (right-click on START), it opens Windows Explorer in C:\WINDOWS\Start Menu. If I click on the Windows Explorer Icon, it comes up in C:\ (C Drive expanded).

How can I get it to come up totally retracted? Can this be changed in the registry? Or how can I do it? Please let me know. Thanks.

My e-mail address is fsanchez@merlet.com

Create a shortcut to Explorer, right click on it and select Properties.
In the Target window under the Shortcut tab, enter the following:-
C:\Windows\Explorer.exe /n,/e,/select,C:\
All the switches for Explorer.exe are listed in the tips.txt file that comes with Windows. It should be in C:\Windows, but if you've deleted it, it should still be on the CD also
