Check HK_L_M\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\R un in the registry and C:\documents and settings\<username>\Start Menu\Programs\Startup (where username = your username, "Default User", and "All Users") to see if there is anything starting up that you don't recognize.

Check out this thread. Mosaic1 posted a link to a good site that will allow you to get rid of the hi-jacker.

Open regedit (start>run>regedit)

Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Microsoft>Internet Explorer>Main.

In the right had column look for Default_Page_URL.
Right click it & choose modify then enter your desired homepage
