Can you please help me with a problem im having? I clicked on the start button and then clicked on Run and i noticed everytime i would just type in one letter like G in the white rectangular box i would get a list of sites beginning with that letter. This is the first time that i have noticed this . If i type in the letter L then I get a list of sites beginning with the letter L . Is this normal ? How can I remove them sites from there? I tried getting them sites in the white box area and then I would use the back space key thinking they would go away but no luck. They keep reappearing. Could somebody please tell me what i need to do so i can get this matter solved . thank you so much

Right-click on the taskbar, choose properties, click the Start Menu Programs tab and click the Clear button.

If this doesn't do it, you'll need to delete the hidden index.dat files...
Go to Start>Shutdown>Restart in MS-DOS Mode. At the command prompt, type the following commands, pressing ENTER after each command, and pressing Y if you are prompted to confirm folder deletion:

cd\windows
smartdrv
deltree cookies
deltree history
deltree tempor~1
exit
